13 Bern and Pulau Ubin

My legs are aching like mad from our day at Pulau Ubin. After crazy cycling around the island with the Lancaster gang, I am utterly exhausted. To add on, we had durians, coconuts, cheap food (twice) and climbed a dodgy looking and really tall tower that shook. I AM EXHAUSTED. I think I will definitely crash once this entry is done.

Anyway, I realised I have barely even scratched the surface on blogging about my Europe trip. So here is the 2nd Switzerland city we covered after Geneva...

Bern was really beautiful with all the fountains and clocks all over the city. I really need to crash and sleep now. So I'll edit this entry again later with more pictures.

Do you see how fair we are in the rosengarten? I think after Barcelona, Cracow and Pulau Ubin, we are at least 100 times darker. Especially for SY!

Can't wait to meet up with the NJC people tomorrow and to finally meet up with the RGPS girls!

I just hope I don't ache too much when I wake up tomorrow. ._.

10 Last Wednesday in Lancaster and More

I know it isn't really the last Wednesday in Lancaster anymore cause I am in Barcelona right now.. but anyway it was a sad and crazy day. I am going to miss Lancaster and everyone there.

Am now in Barcelona with SY, Juls and Weiwei. It is so hot and we are all melting once we step out of the hostel. It doesn't help that the hostel room itself is beyond hot. Zara and Mango have been so-so only and I don't expect to shop anymore. So I guess the shopping in Spain isn't all that great.

However, we have been seeing many many gorgeous cathedrals. Will blog more when I am back in Singapore.

We are off to Poland tomorrow although we're transiting in London and doing a crazy overnighter.

I AM MELTING IN BARCELONA.

6 Last Saturday in Lancaster

Sing Soc Farewell BBQ later and I really wonder how that will turn out. Suffice to say, there is a lot more than lies beneath everything.

Anyway, I am lazy to cook lunch and I think I am coming down with a sore throat from shouting too much last night. Plus, someone is happily gallivanting around Singapore in my car. He better return it with a full tank. -.-

Anyway back to my Easter trip.. after New York, we spent a week in Chicago. All we did was shop, eat and sleep all day long. I'll do up a post on that once I get the pictures from Ed. So.. after Chicago, I flew back to London. Hurriedly showered, grabbed a quick but great dim sum lunch, and flew to Geneva.

2 New York

  

  

It's 4am and the sun is rising! Just got back awhile ago from SY's. We cooked bak kut teh which turned out a bit too peppery. Unfortunately, deprived foodies cannot be choosers. 

So anyway, I've decided to follow Juls and do up a post each for every city/country that I covered during Easter. I don't have much pictures of New York cause everything is with Ed and Phil. I really need to clear my hard disk soon. 

So yes.. from 19th to 24th March it was New York! NY in brief was: Food, Shopping, Museums, Taxis and no Sleep.

We had about a week in NY and it still wasn't enough. Oh but the food was amazing. Blue Ribbon, Les Halles, Carnegie, Serendipity, Pellegrino's... And so was the shopping. I did not want to leave the Saks shoe salon. 

FRIENDS! We should do another holiday soon. I can't wait to meet Ed in Leeds this weekend. I am gonna demand some home cooked chinese food while I am there. And I'm going to probably have to watch SATC again with her. ._. 

Really can't wait to travel again upon the.. conclusion of my examinations. (HAHA.)
