I know it isn't really the last Wednesday in Lancaster anymore cause I am in Barcelona right now.. but anyway it was a sad and crazy day. I am going to miss Lancaster and everyone there.
Am now in Barcelona with SY, Juls and Weiwei. It is so hot and we are all melting once we step out of the hostel. It doesn't help that the hostel room itself is beyond hot. Zara and Mango have been so-so only and I don't expect to shop anymore. So I guess the shopping in Spain isn't all that great.
However, we have been seeing many many gorgeous cathedrals. Will blog more when I am back in Singapore.
We are off to Poland tomorrow although we're transiting in London and doing a crazy overnighter.
I AM MELTING IN BARCELONA.

9 Last Tuesday in Lancaster
So we said goodbye to Juls at the most random place ever. Tai pan supermarket. ._.
While in Manchester, we stuffed ourselves crazy with dim sum for lunch and szechuan for dinner. And in between we had Starbucks. It felt like I was back in Singapore cause I was in a 7 seater car, driving along highways, parking in multi-storey carparks, eating chinese and shopping.
Was extremely jealous of this girl at TK Maxx who snagged three Primp tops at a steal before I spotted them. Still managed to buy something nice through!
But anyway.. these are my last few moments in my dorm room. I have cleared out my stuff from the kitchen and tomorrow what is left in my room goes to the charity shop. I have numerous errands to run tomorrow before I reach Edinburgh. Who knew leaving could be such a long and drawn out process.
I seriously hope my luggage is not overweight. Diana's crazy weighing machine claims I am 60kg! I'll leave everyone to wonder if I am really 60kg. Haha anyway, with my luggage I am 80kg. 20kg worth of things plus a backpack to drag to Edinburgh! I need kind strangers.
I am going to miss this place and the people here.
Especially these two. Ya la they are Singaporeans too. But still.. it's gonna be different.

8 Last Monday in Lancaster
Tomorrow it'll be Juls' last day in Lancaster and we'll be heading down to Manchester to go crazy at Tai Wu. The Singaporeans are renting a 7 seater to travel down as it's much cheape than trains. Should be pretty exciting though I doubt I'll get a chance to drive cause the guys have a license as well. I heard it's a manual car and I wonder if I can still work a clutch.
I don't want to leave. I think these feelings are exacerbated by the fact that my poor Samsonite is stuffed to the maximum and I don't know how I am going to lug this to Edinburgh. Let's hope I cross paths with random nice strangers!
Well.. It's my second last night sleeping in my dorm and I am barely even getting any sleep. Zzz. I am going to miss this place.
Anyway our farewell was wonderful last night with much thanks to Ada. The food was amazing. And that is an understatement.
I am going to miss everyone. Don't ask me why we are all NOT looking at the camera. Haha.
However, as much as I dread leaving, I also can't wait for my last Tuesday and Wednesday! After all, memories are always much sweeter when they are memories and not still the present. Plus, I can't wait to see my mum!

7 Last Sunday in Lancaster
Just got back from church!

During service, we got a shock when Gail who was doing announcements suddenly brought up the fact that we were going back to Singapore. She asked everyone to gather around us to pray as a church send off. It was really sweet of her to remember and yeah.. my cell group is pretty amazing man. A lot of them came up to bless and hug us goodbye. Was really a bittersweet moment and I am going to miss attending Christians Alive. Had our last student lunch and headed to town to buy groceries for our farewell tonight.
There are really a lot of 'last's in this last week in Lancaster. Shall do my last laundry round tomorrow and start packing.
Gonna make sushi again later to bring for dinner! Yay. Our third and final time. Sigh. But boy do we make good sushi.

From our previous sushi night..
Sushi, chawanmushi and miso soup!

6 Last Saturday in Lancaster
Sing Soc Farewell BBQ later and I really wonder how that will turn out. Suffice to say, there is a lot more than lies beneath everything.
♥♥♥
Anyway, I am lazy to cook lunch and I think I am coming down with a sore throat from shouting too much last night. Plus, someone is happily gallivanting around Singapore in my car. He better return it with a full tank. -.-

Anyway back to my Easter trip.. after New York, we spent a week in Chicago. All we did was shop, eat and sleep all day long. I'll do up a post on that once I get the pictures from Ed. So.. after Chicago, I flew back to London. Hurriedly showered, grabbed a quick but great dim sum lunch, and flew to Geneva.
and so.. Geneva!

5 Last Friday in Lancaster
Well it's actually Saturday already. But anyway.. Investments is over and my school life as a Lancaster University student is officially over.
So in the spirit of things.. we each bought a school hoodie and finally got down to checking out Sugarhouse. In short.. I am not impressed. I mean it is not even 2am!
I shall conveniently place the blame on the fact that I went there on an empty stomach. And I am going to stuff my face with cup noodles now.

4 Last Thursday in Lancaster
Time sure flies.
Have a splitting headache and a stiff back. Plus a crazy investments paper tomorrow.
Cannot wait for this to be over. And then our days will be filled with endless farewells dinners, BBQs on the lovely green fields and crazy last minute packing.
How am I going to squeeze all this into one luggage and a backpack?!
By the way.. Juls is hiding somewhere in that picture. Try and spot her!

3 Fish & Chips
Had the best fish & chips ever after the SATC movie yesterday. I want to eat it again! Also saw the most gorgeous flowers during our walk back.
Anyway, it's Leeds tomorrow for the weekend and I still cannot fully comprehend Investments. I want to kill James. I also want to kill the person who hid the stupid textbook somewhere in the library!
Two more weeks till my life as a student in Lancaster reaches its end. Till then, I really need to start studying. I have been gallivanting off to way too many random UK cities. But then again and the end of it all, I know it's all worth the crazy last minute cramming.

1 The Beginning of the End
So this is my first post here about life in Lancaster. It feels unreal considering I have been here for 6 months and I am leaving in less than 3 weeks.
I am definitely crazy to only start this now. But like they say, 'better late than never'.
